Tickets are now on sale for our November 13th tasting at Bottles Fine Wine. The tasting will be at The Dorrance in downtown Providence. We’ll be tasting 5 whiskies suitable for the holidays – either to celebrate with or to give as gifts to someone special, even if that someone special is yourself.
Unlike previous tastings we’ll be sampling both Scotch Whiskies and Bourbons at the same tasting. The Four Roses 2012 Limited Edition Single Barrel will be the lone bourbon and we’ll have four whiskies in a variety of styles. The ever popular Glenfiddich 18 Year old, the Aberlour A’bunadh, The Scapa 16 Year Old, and finally the Ardbeg Corryvreckan.
These are special whiskies and as such tickets for this tasting are $35. Given the interest expressed so far, we expect this tasting to sell out relatively quickly. Moderating duties will be handled by Stephen Mathis, whisky writer and professor. And remember your ticket entitles you to a 10% discount on one bottle of one of the whiskies tasted at Bottles.
